Erica Berek - Basketball Coach
Coach Erica Berek brings a wealth of experience and passion for athletics to every team she leads. A standout multi-sport athlete, she was an All-State performer in three different sports during high school, earning the prestigious Wendy’s Heisman Award for her excellence on and off the court. Her dedication continued at the collegiate level, where she excelled as a two-sport athlete in volleyball and basketball. Recognized for her leadership and performance, she was nominated for the NCAA Woman of the Year Award and received the Helen Murphy Award at Rhode Island College, honoring the most outstanding female athlete and student.
As a coach, Erica has consistently developed competitive teams and successful athletes. She has led the Exeter-West Greenwich (EWG) Girls’ Basketball Team to postseason play in all four years of her tenure and currently serves as the head coach for the EWG Girls’ Volleyball Team. Additionally, she has played a pivotal role in youth development as the President of EWG Youth Hoops, fostering the next generation of basketball players.
For the past six years, Coach Erica has also been an integral part of the Warriors Boys’ Basketball Program, leading her teams to multiple championship tournament victories. Her experience, leadership, and dedication to player development make her a key figure in the basketball community, inspiring athletes to reach their full potential both on and off the court.
