Chris achieved over 125 varsity wins in just seven seasons at Exeter-West Greenwich High School and coached four players who scored over 1,000 points in their high school careers. His exceptional leadership and results earned him the prestigious Coach of the Year award three times during his tenure at the school.

In addition to his success at the high school level, Chris was a dedicated youth basketball coach for both girls and boys in Smithfield, Rhode Island, from 2006 to 2020, helping to shape the foundation of countless young players. He also served as a non-paid scout for Franklin Pierce University from 2008 to 2009, further expanding his impact on the basketball community.

Early in his career, Chris was the assistant coach for the Boys Basketball team at Sichuan High School during the 2000–2001 season, contributing to their growth and success.
